Policy regarding Identification and re-dressel of Grievance, Conflict of Interest, Anti-Corruption Policy

Grievances Policy: AFP Company is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to offering equal employment opportunities in accordance with Rights Act of Pakistan and its amendments. All the grievance of the employees shall be presented to Manager Concerned, if the matter is not solved or the employee still have any grievance then it shall be presented to AFP Management Committee and the decision of the selection committee shall be final in all aspects and all employees including the employee filed the grievance shall be bound to obey the decision in all acts and manners.

Conflict of Interest Policy: All staff and Directors of AFP Company will strive to avoid any conflict of interest between the interests of the Company on the one hand, and personal, professional, and business interests on the other. This includes avoiding actual conflicts of interest as well as the perception of conflicts of interest.

The purpose of this policy is to protect the integrity of the Company’s decision-making process, to enable stakeholders to have confidence in the Company’s integrity, and to protect the integrity and reputation of staff and Directors.

It is the responsibility to conduct employment matters in a manner that avoids not only conflicts of interest, but also any appearance of a conflict of interest. Conflicts of interest may arise in: hiring employees; their employment in more than one capacity; outside employment or activities engaged in by employees; and the award of contracts to employees. This policy is intended to promote avoidance of conflicts of interest and the appearance there of that arise through the employment in the same governmental unit of people who share certain familial or other close relationships. The primary goal is to avoid instances in which the hiring process or any term or condition of employment is inappropriately influenced by such familial or other relationships, or the perception among members of the public or other employees of such impropriety.

Anti Corruption Policy: One of the guiding principles of AFP Company is ‘complying with anti-corruptions laws’. The Anti-Corruption Policy extends on this principle, and is applicable to all employees and everyone we do business with, including processors, representatives, consultants, independent contractors and anyone acting independently against any position on behalf of AFP Company. This policy outlines acceptable and non-acceptable behaviors to ensure compliance with anti-corruption laws. This includes compliance with all laws, prohibiting improper payments, gifts or inducements of any kind to and received from any person, including officials in the private or public sector, customers and suppliers.
